About the Artist

Andrew Oliver is an artist born in Victoria, BC. He has a BFA in Painting at Emily Carr University (Vancouver). He primarily works on canvas and paper, creating artworks that reflect everyday objects and people.

His artistic process begins with the collecting of reference sketches and images. From there, he draws them into a composition and starts painting. He is fascinated by the relationship between colour and form, traditional techniques, and modern materials.
